The international "red dot design award", originated in 1955, is the largest and most renowned design
competition in the world. In 2009,
the competition received more than 12.000 submissions from more than 60 countries
in its three disciplines: product design, communication design and design
concept.
The red dot is the award for high design quality. Receiving an accolade in the red dot design award makes the companies' achievements visible, because the red dot label is a worldwide recognized quality seal for outstanding design.
The red dot design award jury, consisting
of international renowned designers and design experts, guarantees an objective
and fair comparison on an international scale. Only products that clearly stand

sought-after quality seal from the international jury.
